Our Facility

Dowd Equestrian is located on a beautiful 20 acre farm in Okemos, Michigan, only 15 minutes from Michigan State University. We offer:

8 - 12x12 Matted Stalls with Dutch Doors

Hot/Cold Water Wash Stall
3 Large Grass Pastures with Sheds
3 Small paddocks
Attached 75'x150' Indoor Arena
Large Outdoor Grass Arena

Boarding

Dowd Equestrian has a long-standing reputation of putting the horse first. Our boarder horses are cared for as if they are our own. Our goal is to have happy horses and boarders that are worry free and at ease. We strongly believe in and practice good horsemanship. A good horseman is always striving to learn and grow as a rider. Dowd Equestrian offers year-round opportunities for riders of all levels to gain new skills, both on and off the farm. We also offer a competitive schedule for those that are interested in horse showing.

Dowd Equestrian offers boarding for those that are seeking to be part of our team! We work with an incredible animal care group, including vet, farrier, dentist, chiropractor, and massage therapist.
